Our first speaker for the night is Paul from Classic Patios and Pools. Paul has been in the building improvement business for around 50 years, helping the folks of WA improve their dwellings by adding everything from patios to pools, and more recently granny flat accommodation. Over the past 3 years the ancillary accommodation (granny flat) sector has grown to represent 70% of his business revenue, so there most certainly is a market for this product. Paul is going to give us some insight into how this relatively new market can work for us as investors and increase the yield we get on existing or new properties using this approach.

Our second speaker for the night is Kent Cliffe who is a Buyer’s Agent at Momentum Wealth. He started working in real estate at the age of 17 while completing a Bachelor of Economics at UWA. He has worked at Momentum Wealth helping client’s build wealth through property for over 4 years. In the current financial year Kent’s clients has been involved in $25m worth of small scale residential development. Kent is an active investor who has completed his own projects such as 40%+ retain and build and his current project of 4 apartments in Bayswater. He is on track for his goal to have a passive income of $150,000 per annum by 30.
Kent’s presentation will help clear the path for would be developers and give you the knowledge you need to make more informed decisions. It’s a vital source of information for both hands-on developers and those who choose to take the ‘armchair’ route to developing.
