Ultimately, Property Investing is all about leverage and profit.

 

Successful investors know that in order to make good money from property you need a good team and you need good deals.

 

The way to achieve repeated success in property investing is to find property deals for the right price that need some sort of ‘work’, and then create win-win solutions where everybody profits and ultimately where you make money too.

 

This month, we’ll be looking at how you can team together with others to do a creative property deal, looking at a case study in today’s market that was done as a joint venture, successfully leveraging time, money, skills, serviceability, teamwork, and a whole lot more.

About this month’s speakers – Adam Coates and Mark Kelman

This month we have two speakers sharing the secrets behind a joint-venture deal and how to succeed in a project like this.

 

Our first speaker is Sydney Property Meeting Leader, Mark Kelman, author of the book, Become A Property Millionaire In Your Spare Time, and director of Achieve Property.

 

Mark has been investing for over 12 years and has successfully grown a multi-million dollar property portfolio several times over. He currently holds 13 of his own properties, as well as having joint venture projects with other investors, and his company teaches people how to successfully get started in property investing and how to get to the next level in their investing – by supplying people with tools and training at an affordable price for beginning investors.

 

Mark has used a range of strategies throughout his property investing career, from mortgagee sales, to strata subdivision, granny flats, rent-to-own, renovations, buy-and-hold and developments. He is passionate about investors using the right tools so that they can create a win for themselves and a win for the vendor, when they buy.

 

Our second speaker and the other half of this JV deal is Adam Coates, also an experienced investor who has also built a sizeable portfolio over a number of years.

 

Adam left the corporate marketing world to focus on property investing too, which in turn allows him to spend more time with his wife and 2 boys. Adam’s strategies in the past have been buy-and-hold, cashflow positive, and buying in rising markets, and for Adam this deal has been a bit different from his usual strategies. However, he has very much enjoyed this JV journey and is keen to share his experiences with everyone at the meeting.
