Getting it right when putting together an offer to purchase a deal is critical to the success of your projects as is understanding how to make the best use of the site. In this meeting you will learn from an agent how to deal with an agent and the strategies that agents use. You will also hear about some little known ways in which can turn the ordinary into the extra ordinary in terms of returns for development sites.
Our first speaker is Peter Kasten, he is a Real Estate agent (with a difference) currently working for the Realmark Team based in Wembley. Peter started his real estate career over in Qld back in 2007 and since relocating to WA he has received many peer acknowledged awards and great customer feedback. Peter is not your normal agent, always willing to have a look at creative ways to get deals across the line and is willing to “tell it as it is”.
Peter is going to cover all the things you wanted to ask an agent but never got the chance such as;
- The psychology behind sale types (e.g. set date, Offers, etc)
- Buyer and Seller Dynamics
- Negotiation Techniques – getting your offer accepted
- How offers are played against each other and when they must be presented
- Building your network
- How to work with agents
- Writing effective copy and a whole heap more…….
Aaron Sice our second speaker has had 13 years of design experience, with everything from house behind a house to larger villa developments, estate subdivision and small to large apartment developments. Most people at Local Government know Aaron on a first name basis, recently rubbing shoulders with the likes of Alannah MacTiernan and Lisa Scaffidi; Aaron is well known for maximising a site’s potential within State and Local policy.
Aaron will be talking about some very interesting changes in the Perth residential market, specifically development sites. He’ll show you how to get the most out of any run-of-the-mill development site and provide some current examples of what’s happening in our suburbs. A regular presenter at APN WA (now PropertyMeeting.com.au), Aaron’s presentations are always an informal format and he encourages questions on the fly. At the end of his presentation, he will run through a real-time example of finding a suitable site and the information needed to work out what you can do.
