Your real estate agent may be paid to sell your property, but youneed to sell them on the price that it’s worth and lead them to get you the best outcome.
Negotiation is about creating a win-win situation by identifying the needs of the other party, determining if you can fulfil those needs while achieving an outcome you want, and by communicating the solution to the other party in such a way as to gain agreement.
With the right training and strategies and tactics, you can negotiate tens of thousands of dollars at both ends of a property transaction– so doesn’t this make it a worthy lesson to learn before you buy or sell your next property!
